13C and 1H Solid-state NMR of proteins and other systems under ultra-fast MAS at 80–100 kHz and beyond This article highlights a couple of drastic changes in the field of protein solid-state NMR associated with ultra-fast magic-angle spinning at 80–100 kHz or higher in a high magnetic field. It is demonstrated that method is sufficient for analysis of nano-mole-scale quantities protein side chains.

Nitrogen/protein determination in food It’s described the approach to the nitrogen/protein determination by the Dumas method implemented in the analyzer LECO FP628. It was shown that the error analysis using LECO FP628 is acceptable during operation in a high mode, an economical and low volume loop using
argon as the carrier gas.

Quality control of foodstuff and food raw materials. Shimadzu solutinons The article describes the specific examples of the application of the Shimadzu equipment to meet the challenges faced by the analytical laboratories of the food industry. It is shown that various types of chromatography in combination with spectrometric methods – MS, AA, ICP-OES, FT-IR – allow full control over the quality of food products and food raw materials in accordance with the requirements of the standards.

Mass spectrometry of stable 18O/16O of oxygen isotopes in the grapes and wines of the Crimea Using mass spectrometry of an isotopic equilibration (EQ-IRMS / SIRA) the biological fractionation of stable isotopes of light elements in plants C3 photosynthesis group is investigated. On grapes example it is studied biological fractionation of stable isotopes of oxygen 18O / 16O and its relationship with the region's growing conditions and initial processing of vegetable raw materials of eight varieties of grapes grown up and processed in the Crimea.

Biosensor analysis of proteins Molecular imprinted poly-o-phenylenediamine as an analogue in antibodies myoglobin electroanalysis Molecular imprinting technology in biosensor analysis offered as an alternative to natural affinity reagent such as antibody to determine the protein cardiaс markers myoglobin. It is developed a method electroanalysis myoglobin using graphite electrodes modified molecular imprinted polymers on the basis of ortho-phenylenediamine at the surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes.
