The article formulates a set of characteristics of the HPLC method required for a complete description of its custom properties. The standard accepted validation procedure has been shown to affect only three of the ten key quality characteristics of an HPLC method. The quality characteristics of the HPLC method that are not included in the standard validation kit are discussed. The classification of the characteristics of the quality of the HPLC method is given, it is proposed to divide them into three groups according to the influence on the suitability and economic efficiency.
