Experience of Using the MAES Analyzer for Analytical Control of Lithium Products in the Central Laboratory Plant of The Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant
Analytical control of lithium production at the Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plants carried out by the Proximate Analysis Laboratory which is part of the Central Plant Laboratory. The Proximate Analysis Laboratory has at its disposal three spectrometric systems that allow analysis by flame photometry. The object of analysis is a process solution, which can contain analyte elements in a wide range of concentrations. Concentrations in the range of 0.01–5 mg / l are determined using a modifiedS‑115 spectrometer with a MAES analyzer, concentrations in the range of 0.1 mg / l‑100 mg / l are determined on a Pavlin spectrometer, and high concentrations (up to 70 g / l) on a Kolibri‑2 spectrometer. The analysis is controlled from the Atom software, which has extensive capabilities.
