Experience of the Spectral Analysis Laboratory of the NPO NIIIP-NZiK company
The Spectral Analysis Laboratory of the Central Plant Laboratory of the NPO NIIIP-NZiK performs incoming inspection and monitoring in the production of metal alloys based on tin, iron, copper, aluminum, and zinc in order to ensure the quality of products manufactured by the company. The product assortment ranges from foil and wire to heavy plates, sheets, and profiles. Atomic emission analysis is carried out using two spectral systems: an ISP‑30 spectrograph with a MAES analyzer, a Vezuvii‑3 generator, and a Kristall stand and an Express spectrometer. A comparison of the analytical capabilities of the two spectral systems has been carried out, showing that the spectral system based on the ISP‑30 is inferior in analytical capabilities to the Express.
