Methods for Obtaining and Studying the Properties of Polymer Films Based on Polyvinyl Alcohol Gels Converted by 1-(2-Pyridylazo)-2-Naphthol
The paper presents the results of our own research on the production of polymer films based on polyvinyl alcohol hydrogels modified with 1-(2 pyridylase)-2 naphthol. This study is aimed at finding an effective way to synthesize moisture-resistant polymer films with stable optical properties. The moisture resistance of the obtained materials was evaluated by determining their deformation time in an aqueous medium and absorption spectra in the wavelength range of 190–800 nm. It is established that any of the selected synthesis methods leads to an increase in the moisture resistance of the films, but at the same time there may be a significant change in the spectral characteristics of the obtained materials. The prospects of using materials obtained by exposure to high temperatures (100 °C) for 30 minutes are indicated.
